How to download Opening and Closing Leave Balance report?

    The opening and closing leave balance report, found within the Time Attend reports, offers comprehensive leave data for employees within a specific time period. It includes the initial leave balance at the beginning of the selected timeframe, leaves utilized during that period, and the remaining leave balance at the end of the selected timeframe.


    This report is a valuable tool for organizations, as it promotes transparency and fairness in leave allocation. It ensures that employees take their entitled time off without surpassing the allocated limits. Additionally, it helps companies in efficient workforce planning, minimizing disruptions caused by multiple absences.


    To download the Opening and Closing Leave Balance report, go to Time Attend (1) and select Reports (2). Here under the Leave Reports card, select Opening and Closing Leave Balances of Employees (3).




    In the next window, select the Leave Plan, the Start, and the End Date (4) and click Run (5). Once the report is generated you can use the Download Icon (6) to download the report.




    Once you select the Leave Plan, the system by default selects the Leave Calendar year as the range. You may set the Start date & End date as per your requirement but not exceeding that particular leave calendar year range.
