How to delete a Leave plan?

    Having leave plans is necessary for organizations as it sets rules and guidelines that govern how employees can take time off from work. However, in certain scenarios where a new leave plan is created & the employees are mapped under the new leave plan, you might want to delete the previous/older leave plan.

    Therefore, let us take a look at how to delete a leave plan.


    Navigate to the Time Attend (1) section and select Leave (2) after which you will be directed to the Leave Plans (3) tab.



    Select the Leave Plan (1) that you wish to delete, then click on the 3 dots (2) and select Delete Plan (3).


     

    Please note that the leave plan which is marked as Default or leave plans that still have active/relieved employees assigned, cannot be deleted.

    If you are facing an issue while deleting a Leave plan, please generate the Employee Master Details report for exited/relieved employees from employee reports under the dashboard in the Org section, and kindly check the leave plan for the given employees. You will have to manually change the leave plan of exited employees, before deleting the leave plan.
