How to configure the subsequent biometric log entries to be taken in pairs?

Learn how to configure subsequent biometric log entries to be taken in pairs in Keka HRMS. Improve accuracy and streamline employee attendance tracking.

Biometric log entries taken as subsequent logs can be beneficial when the biometric device in your office does not have the feature to separate log entries as clock-ins and clock-outs. Keka gives you the option to pair subsequent log entries as clock-ins and clock-outs, using which the employee work hours can be tracked more accurately and efficiently.

To configure this setting on Keka, go to Time Attend (1) and open Settings (2). Under this, go to the Device Clocking (3) section and make sure that you are on the Summary tab (4).

Select the relevant device group from Location & Groups (1) and go Manage Access Area (2) section. Here, click on the Edit icon (3) for the relevant access area.

In the section that appears now, select 'Yes. Group all the logs of this premise and pair subsequent logs.' for 'Do you want to pair the subsequent logs/entries' and then click Update.
