How to configure auto-approval settings if an employee requests a comp-off (or any leave) and no action is taken by the manager?
Learn how to configure auto-approval settings in Keka HRMS for comp-off or leave requests when no action is taken by the manager within a set time.
Currently, Keka does not allow requests to be auto-approved if the approver does not take any action. Auto-approval will only occur if the approver is not registered with Keka, has not been assigned the relevant role, or has been relieved of their duties.
To enable auto-approval, first navigate to the Time Attend (1) section and then click on Leave (2). Make sure you're on the Leave Plans (3) tab and select the relevant leave plan from the left panel. Next, find the leave type you want to enable auto-approval for and click on the menu (three dots) under the Actions column, then select Settings (4).
Under the Approval section, click on the checkbox Auto-approve if approver is missing and ensure that an approval chain has been set up in case approver is missing. Click Save & Continue and exit the window if there are no other updates needed.
