How to clone objectives from a previous timeframe?
In the Performance management module, in cases where employees may have similar objectives for multiple timeframes, it may be more convenient for the admin to copy/clone the previously added objectives and assign them to the employees. The Keka PMS module offers the ability to copy & clone the objectives from one timeframe to another.
Let us take a look at how we can copy & clone the objectives.
-
Go to the Objectives Module
- Log in to Keka.
- Click Performance (1) from the left menu.
- Select Objectives (2) from the top menu under the Administration (3) section.
2. Select Employees
-
- Open the Employees (4) tab to view their objectives.
- Use filters to find specific employees.

- Check the boxes next to the employees who need the cloned objectives.
3. Clone Objectives from a Previous Timeframe
- Once employees are selected, click on the Add Existing Objectives button.
4. Clone Existing Objectives
-
- A dialog box will open with a list of past objectives.
- Select the objectives you want to clone.
- Choose the new timeframe (e.g., from H1-2024 to H1-2025).
- Click Assign Objectives
- Confirm Cloning
-
