How to clone letter template?

Letter templates in keka can be used to generate employee letters and send it to them directly to their work email address. You can add multiple letter templates and sometimes, different letter templates may contain the same content with small differences. In this case, instead of creating a new letter template and creating it from scratch, you can clone the letter.


To clone letters, go to Org (1) and select Documents. Here under Letter Templates (2), you will see the available letter templates. Now select the letter template you want and under Actions click options and you will find Clone Template (3).



 

In the Pop-up enter the name of the Letter template and the Description. Then click Save.


 

 

The letter template with a new name but the same settings and content is created. You can use the Edit Template option in case you need any modifications.
