How to change a leave policy for an individual employee or in Bulk?
Not all employees may have the same leave policy in an organization. The leave policy may differ based on the department or job role. In such cases, different leave policies need to be created based on the requirement and assigned accordingly. In case an employee changes departments or has a job title change, we may need to assign them their leave policy accordingly.
To change the leave policy of an individual employee, search for the employee's name in the Global search (1) and go to the Employees Profile.
Here navigate to Job section.
Then scroll down to Employee Time and search for Leave Plan. Here beside the name of the Leave plan click on the Edit Icon.
In the window select if you the change is Correction of Data or Change in leave plan of the employee. Then select the New Leave plan, add the reason for change in the Note and click Update.
UPDATE IN BULK
To change the Leave plan of employees in Bulk, go to Org (1) and navigate to Dashboard and click Summary. Under Summary, search for Bulk Operations and click Import Employee Job Details (2).
On the page Select employees work location from the drop down and click Download the Excel Template.
In the Popup, select if you would like to download the template for All employees or for a Group of employees. When you select Group of employees, you can use the filters available to specify which employees need to be included in the Template. Once selected Click Download to Download the Excel Template.
In the Excel Template search for Leave plan and update it for employees using the Drop-down available in the cell. Update the leave plan for the employees and save the template.
Now on the Keka page click Upload Excel file to upload the template with the updates.
Once the file is uploaded it will move to the Match Columns page. Here check the Columns and click Continue.
On the last page, if there are no errors you can click Complete and the Leave plan of the employees will be updated.
Hope the process to change the leave plan is clear. Need more help? You can refer to the other articles.
