How do I handle Year-End Processing (YEP) if I've already processed the December payroll without doing it, and do I need to roll back the payroll?
If you've already completed the December payroll but haven't processed the Year-End Processing (YEP), don't worry you can still complete the LYP without rolling back the payroll. However, if you intend to include the leave encashment amount in the December payroll, then a rollback of the payroll is necessary to accommodate this. If leave encashment for December is not a priority, you can proceed with the Year-End Processing as is, without the need to roll back the payroll for December. This flexibility allows you to complete the necessary year-end tasks in a way that best suits your organizational needs and timelines. Remember, it's important to plan accordingly for such processes in the future to ensure seamless integration of all payroll and leave-related activities.
