How can an employee Regularize his attendace?
An employee may miss marking his attendance due to various reasons and there may be a penalty applied according to the tracking policy rules as set by the organization. In such cases if the organization allows it, an employee may apply for regularisation. There are 2 types of regularisations in Keka:
1. Adjust Attendance Logs: Employees can add or update the attendance logs for the day. Penalisation may still happen in case the logs added do not meet the Tracking policy criteria.
2. Regularise Attendance to Exempt the day from Tacking policy: No logs are required for this type of regularisation. The day will be exempt from any tracking policy penalisations.
The organization can choose to give any one or both of the regularisation types to the employees.
An employee can regularise his attendance by going to Me (1) and select Attendance (2). Here go to the day you would like to regularise attendance. On the right under Logs, you can see Options. In Options Click Regularise (3).
In the window based on your capture scheme you can see either Add/update time entries to adjust attendance logs or Raise regularisation request to exempt this day from tracking policy penalisation or both.
When you select Add/update time entries to adjust attendance logs, you will get see the logs for the day which you can modify. In case there are no logs, you get the option to Add Logs.
Once you click Add logs you can adjust the Time Entries. Once you have added the time entries click Request.
In case you select Raise regularisation request to exempt this day from tracking policy penalisation, you can just enter the Note and click Request.
Hope the process to raise a regularisation request as an employee is now clear.
