Submitting Empty Timesheets in Keka PSA

While Keka PSA typically requires a minimum of 1 hour for timesheet submissions, there are instances where employees may need to submit empty timesheets. This can occur when employees are assigned to projects but do not work on them for certain days due to other responsibilities.

In some instances, an employee assigned to projects may not work on those projects for one or more days due to other responsibilities that do not require timesheet entries. In these situations, the employee is not obligated to log any time entries for those days.

How to Submit an Empty Timesheet

  • Leave Period Blank: Employees can simply leave the timesheet period blank and submit the timesheet.
  • Empty Timesheet Approval: Empty timesheets will go to the "Empty Timesheet Approvals" page for admin approval.

Even if there are no recorded hours for the entire week, employees still have the option to submit their timesheets. It's important to note that the process for approving empty timesheet submissions differs from the standard approval workflow.

Admin Approval Process

  • Review and Approve/Reject: Admins can review empty timesheets and either approve or reject them.

Conclusion:

By understanding the process for submitting empty timesheets, employees and administrators can effectively manage timesheet approvals and ensure accurate time tracking.
