Expand Quick Links Capacity on the Home Page

Introduction

The Quick Links widget on the Keka home page helps employees access frequently used tools, applications, portals, and resources from a single location. As organisations grow and adopt more external systems, the need to provide quick access to a larger number of resources also increases.

To address this need, Keka now allows administrators to add up to 18 Quick Links within a single widget, making it easier for employees to find and access the resources they use every day.

What's Changing?

Previously, administrators could add a maximum of 6 Quick Links to the widget. With this enhancement, the limit has been increased to 18 links.

The employee experience remains unchanged, while providing significantly more flexibility for organisations to surface important resources such as:

• Benefits portals
• Tax filing platforms
• Learning and training portals
• Partner applications
• Internal company tools
• Other frequently used external resources

• Improve discoverability of organisation-wide applications and services.
• Maintain the existing Quick Links experience without additional configuration.

Who Can Configure Quick Links?

Only users with permission to customise the home page and manage widgets can add or update Quick Links.

Add Quick Links to the Home Page

1. Go to Home Page Configuration.

2. Navigate to Settings.

   

3. Go to Quick Links widget.

4. Click the Settings icon next to the Quick Links widget.

   

5. Add the Label and required links.

   

6. Save your changes.

   

You can now configure up to 18 Quick Links within a single widget.

Viewing Quick Links

Once configured:

• Employees can view up to 18 links in the Quick Links widget.
• All configured links are displayed within the existing widget layout.
• No changes are required from employees to access the additional links.

Important Notes

• A maximum of 18 Quick Links can be added to a single widget.
• The visual design and layout of the Quick Links widget remain unchanged.
• The Quick Links widget cannot be added to the home page if it contains no links.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can I add more than 18 Quick Links?

   No. Currently, the maximum limit is 18 links per Quick Links widget.

2. Has the widget design changed?

   No. The widget continues to use the existing design and display format.

3. Can links be grouped into categories?

   Not in this release. Link grouping and categorisation are planned for a future enhancement.

4. Will employees need to configure anything?

   No. Employees will automatically see the additional links once administrators update the widget.

5. What happens if there are no links configured?

   The Quick Links widget cannot be added to the home page unless at least one link is configured.

This enhancement is available to all customers and can be configured immediately from the Home Page settings.
