Managing Kerala IT Act LWF Contribution Settings for a Pay Group

This feature allows organizations to configure Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) contributions as per the Kerala IT & IT-Enabled Employees and Entrepreneurs Welfare Scheme (IT Act).

When enabled, the system automatically applies a fixed contribution of ₹100 each from employee and employer, replacing the default slab-based calculation.

Before you begin

• Ensure that Kerala is selected as the state in your LWF configuration

  

• This setting is applicable only for employees based in Kerala
• You should have access to payroll settings

To enable Kerala IT Act LWF contribution

1. Go to Payroll

2. Navigate to Settings >Paygroup> Configure

   

3. Go to Filing details

4. Select Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)

   

5. In the LWF configuration section, locate the option:
   “Applicable under IT Act (Kerala)”
6. Enable the toggle/checkbox

7. Click Save
