Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) often include essential feedback and expectations. To ensure employees clearly understand and accept these terms, Keka allows you to enable acknowledgment tracking.
This helps maintain transparency, strengthens documentation, and reduces misunderstandings during the performance correction process.
Steps to set up employee acknowledgement for PIP in Keka
Go to the Performance module.
Click on the PIP tab in the top navigation.

Open the Settings section under the PIP tab.
Click Edit next to the Enable Acknowledgment option.
Toggle Enable acknowledgment to activate the feature.
Optional Settings
Auto-acknowledgment: Set the number of days after which the system automatically acknowledges the PIP if no action is taken.

Reminders: Enable reminders to notify employees if a PIP remains unacknowledged within the defined timeframe.

Click Save to apply the settings.
With acknowledgment enabled, employees are required to formally confirm receipt of their PIPs—ensuring mutual understanding and supporting fair performance management.
