Steps to Enable the Comment Field for Timesheet Submissions
- Go to the Projects section from the left-hand navigation pane.
- Click on Projects and open the Project List to find the project you want to modify.
- Select the specific project and go to the Settings tab.
- Click on Time entries and then select Edit Settings.
- Check the box next to Employees should add comments for a task while filling a timesheet to enable the comment field.
- Click Update to save the changes.
Once enabled, employees will be prompted to add comments while submitting their timesheets, ensuring better context and accountability for their work hours.
