Keka allows you to define different types of goals—Individual, Department, and Company-level—and control their visibility. Making objectives visible to everyone in the organisation improves alignment, boosts transparency, and fosters collaboration across teams.
This article walks you through the steps to ensure goals are visible to all employees.
Steps to Make Goals Visible to Everyone in Keka
Go to the Performance module from the left-hand menu.
In the Performance module, select Goals and click on the Settings tab at the top.
Under Goal Settings, find Goal types and visibility and click Edit.
You'll see toggle buttons for:
Individual Goals
Department Goals
Company Goals
Turn on the toggle for the required goal types to make them visible.
Under the Visibility column, check the box labeled Visible to everyone for each goal type.
Optionally, you can define who can create and manage goals for each type (e.g., Self, Reporting Manager, or Department Head).
Once you've configured the visibility and role permissions, click Save to apply the changes.
Who Can Perform This Action?
Only users with Admin or HR Admin privileges can edit these settings.
Notes & Tips
To promote transparency and collaboration, it’s recommended to make Company and Department Goals visible to everyone. For Individual Goals, enable visibility only if they don’t contain sensitive or private information.
