Managing Resource Eligibility
You can control which departments and job titles are eligible for allocation:
Exclude Departments: Prevent specific departments (e.g., HR, Legal) from being allocated to projects.
Exclude Job Titles: Specify job titles that are ineligible for project allocation.
Configuring Capacity Settings
Define capacity and workload parameters for your resources:
Daily Work Hours: Set the standard number of working hours per day for all resources.
Bench Eligibility: Determine when a resource is considered “on the bench” (i.e., not allocated to billable projects).
No project allocated to a resource – Any resource without assigned projects will automatically be considered on the bench.
Only non-billable projects allocated to a resource – If a resource is assigned only to non-billable projects, they will also be considered on the bench.
Only non-billable allocations are assigned to a resource – If a resource is assigned only to non-billable allocations, they will also be considered on the bench.
By effectively configuring resource management settings in Keka PSA, you can streamline project planning, enhance resource utilization, and ensure successful project delivery.
