You can declare home loan interest under three sections—80 EE, 80 EEA, and 24(b)—to save on taxes. Based on your eligibility, you can declare the interest in these sections. Check your eligibility here.
Steps to Declare Home Loan Interest under 80 EE and 80 EEA:
Go to My Finances ➔ Manage Tax.

In the Declarations section, search for Other Deductions.
Scroll down to find 80 EE and 80 EEA declarations.

Click the Edit icon to add the declarations.
Enter the amount and upload the document proof.

Click Save to save your entries.
Steps to Declare Home Loan Interest under 24 (b):
Go to My Finances ➔ Manage Tax.
Under Declarations, select House Property.

Click Add Own Residence under I own residence.

Select Self Occupied, Let out Property, or Both, and click Next.
If Self Occupied or Both: Enter the Address, check the box for Interest paid on loan, and enter details like Loan Purpose, Interest Amount, Lender Name, Lender PAN, and upload the Proof.
If Let out Property: Enter details like Annual Lettable Value, Municipal Tax Paid, Unrealized Rent, and other property details. Then, check the box for Interest paid on loan, enter Loan Purpose, Interest Amount, Lender Name, Lender PAN, and upload the Proof.
Click Save to submit the declaration.
