Admins in Keka can manage employee tax declarations and upload investment proofs on their behalf—especially helpful when employees are unable to do so. This ensures timely compliance and accurate tax calculations.
Note: Admins can only upload proofs when the declaration window is open.
Steps
Go to Org → Employees → Search and select the employee
In their profile, click Finances → Manage Tax → Declaration
Select from:
1.5 Lac Deductions
Other Deductions
Tax Saving Allowances
House Property
Income From Other Sources
Click the edit icon next to the item
Enter the amount in the Declaration column
Click Upload Document
Click Save
Check status-
Approved – Verified and accepted
Automatically Approved – Under review but valid until cutoff
Denied – Rejected due to non-compliance
