How to Round Off the Salary Components?

How to Enable Component Rounding for Salary Components in Keka Payroll

To simplify calculations and payments, you can enable rounding off salary components to whole numbers. Follow these steps to configure component rounding in Keka:

Steps to Enable Rounding Off Salary Components:

1. Go to Payroll ➔ Settings ➔ Pay Groups.

2. If there are multiple pay groups, select the relevant pay group.

3. Under Actions, click the Configure icon next to the selected pay group.

   

4. On the next page, click on Other Settings ➔ Miscellaneous Settings.

5. Click on the three dots (⋮) beneath Miscellaneous Settings and then click Update Settings.

   

6. In the pop-up window, find the title Component Rounding.

7. Select Round monthly value of components to enable rounding.

8. Set Rounding Rules:

• Choose your preferred rounding rules from the available options.

  

Component Value Display:

• Without Rounding Off:

  • The component values will display with decimals.

• With Rounding Off Enabled:

  • The component values will be rounded to the nearest whole number.

  • The Monthly net pay of employees will also be rounded to the nearest digit.
