An API Access Key lets authorized applications securely access your Keka data for integrations.
Each key is paired with a Client ID and Client Secret, which are essential for connecting third-party tools to Keka modules.
Keep these credentials secure to prevent unauthorized data access.
Steps to Create an API Access Key
Click the gear icon next to your organization name to open Global Settings.
Go to Integrations and Automation → API Access.
Click Create New Key to open the Create API Key window.
Enter a Name, select an Expiry Date, and define the Scope for this key.
Copy and securely store the Client ID, Client Secret, and API Key — they are shown only once.
Click Save to generate the key.
Important Notes
Note:
Each organization can create up to five active keys. Once the limit is reached, you’ll need to reset the API before generating new ones.
The tech team will need the Key, Client ID, and Client Secret to integrate Keka data with external applications.
