Performance goals act as a roadmap for employees, guiding them toward short-term achievements and aligning their efforts with company objectives. In Keka, you can tailor how goals work—right from the labels used to who can view, create, and manage them.
This article walks you through setting up goal terminology, types, visibility, and advanced options to suit your organisation’s unique structure.
Goal Terminology
Customise how goals and sub-goals are labeled in your organisation.
Go to the Performance module.
Click on Goals, then open the Settings tab.
Select Goal Settings.
-
Under Goal Terminology, click Edit.
Choose from the existing terms or add your own custom label for goals and sub-goals.
-
Click Save.
This lets you align goal language with your company’s culture—whether you call them Objectives, OKRs, or Targets.

Enable and control visibility for different goal types across your organisation.
-
In the same Goal Settings tab, click Edit under Goal Types and Visibility.

These settings help you manage access and accountability at the right levels.
Advanced Goal Settings
