How to set a cut-off date or restrict employees from changing their tax regime?

Steps to Restrict or Set Cut-off for Tax Regime Changes

1. Go to: Payroll → Settings → Pay Groups.

2. Select the Pay Group and click on the Configure Icon.

   

3. In the next window, go to Taxes & Deductions and click Update Tax Regime.

   

4. In the overlay window:

   • Uncheck "Allow employees to change the tax regime" to restrict employees from changing their tax regime. Only admins can make changes.

   • If you want to allow employees to change their regime but set a cut-off date, check the box and configure the cut-off date options.
