You do not need to manually bulk upload or calculate the average ratings from two review cycles. Instead, you can create an Aggregate Review Cycle and select the two completed review cycles whose ratings you want to combine.
The system uses the final ratings received by employees in the selected review cycles to calculate their aggregate rating automatically.
To set this up:
- Navigate to Performance and click on Reviews. Under Reviews, go to Review Cycles.
Click the drop-down next to + Create Review Cycle and select Create Aggregate Review Cycle.
Enter a name for the aggregate review cycle. You can also add a description if required.
- Click Next to move to the Review Form section.
- Under Review Cycles, open the Select review cycles drop-down. The completed review cycles available for aggregation are displayed here.
Select the two review cycles for which you want to calculate the average rating.
- Once both cycles are selected, the system uses the employees' final ratings from these two cycles to calculate the aggregate rating.
For example, if an employee has a final rating of 5 in Review Cycle 1 and 4 in Review Cycle 2, the aggregate rating is:
(5 + 4) ÷ 2 = 4.5
Therefore, the employee's aggregate rating will be 4.5.
Note: The aggregate rating is provided based on the selected review cycles once the aggregate cycle is launched. The ratings can also be calibrated after launch if required.Once the review cycles are selected, you can configure the remaining settings, such as adding questions and defining the review summary and publishing options, then map the required employees and click Complete setup to complete the aggregate review cycle configuration.
Therefore, instead of uploading the average ratings manually, create an Aggregate Review Cycle, select the two relevant completed review cycles, and Keka will calculate the aggregate rating automatically from their final ratings.
