Introduction
Keka’s Polls feature under the Engage module makes it easy to gather quick feedback, opinions, or preferences from employees. Whether you're gauging interest in an upcoming event or collecting input on policy changes, polls help keep your workforce involved and heard.
This article walks you through how to create, customise, and manage polls effectively.
Accessing the Polls Section
To open Polls:
Log in to your Keka account.
Go to the Engage section from the left menu.
Click Polls.
Creating a New Poll
Click New Poll in the top-right corner of the Polls section.
Add Poll Details
Poll Question: Enter the main question you want to ask.
Description: Add context or background for better understanding.
Add Poll Options
Click Add Option to enter possible answers.
Use Add Option again to add more choices.
There’s no limit—you can list as many options as needed.
Configuring Poll Settings
Target Audience
Choose All Employees or Specific Employees.
If selecting specific employees, filter by Department and Location.
Notify by Email
Choose Yes or No to send email notifications about the poll.
Expiry Date
Click Select Date to set when the poll should close.
Additional Options
Multiple Options Voting: Let users select more than one answer.
Allow Custom Answers: Enable employees to add their own responses.
Exclude Employees on Notice Period: Prevent those on notice from participating.
Hide Voter Identity: Keep responses anonymous if needed.
Publishing or Saving the Poll
Once all details are filled:
Click Save Draft if you want to review or edit later.
Click Publish to make the poll live.
Managing Existing Polls
Viewing Polls
Go to the Polls section to view all active and past polls.
Use filters like Added by, Date Range, Department, and Location.
Or use the Search bar for quick lookup.
Editing a Poll
Click the three-dot menu next to the poll.
Select Edit.
Make your changes and either Save Draft or Republish.
Deleting a Poll
Click the Delete icon next to the poll.
Confirm in the popup to remove it.
Poll Stats & Reports
Viewing Poll Stats
Select View Stats from the poll menu.
2. See total responses, individual votes, comments, and participant names.
3. If anonymity is enabled, employee names will not be shown.
Downloading Reports
Select Download Report from the menu.
An Excel file will be generated showing employee names and their selected answers (unless anonymity is enabled).
