Scenario 1: Carry Forward Leaves Not Reflecting After YEP Completion
Issue:
Employees' unused leave balances are not carried forward to the next year as expected after completing YEP.
Solution:
Check the carry forward settings in the leave policy to ensure that carry forward rules are configured correctly.
Ensure that leave expiry dates and limits are correctly set.
If the issue persists, manually import carryover balances via the Carryover Import option available in the YEP settings.
Scenario 2: Comp Off Credits Not Reflected After YEP
Issue:
Comp Off credits for the previous year are not reflected in the employee’s leave balance after YEP completion, especially if credited after the YEP was processed.
Solution:
If a comp-off credit is added after YEP completion, it won’t be reflected because the year is locked.
Workaround: Use the Carryover Import option to import the comp-off credit if it needs to be carried over or adjust the balance manually through the Leave Balance Adjustment tab.
