Introduction

To enable integration between Keka and Slack, you need to create a Slack app and set up incoming webhooks. This guide will walk you through the steps to create a Slack app and configure incoming webhooks in Slack.

Creating a Slack App

• Visit the following link in your web browser: [ https://api.slack.com/apps ]
• Click "Create New App" to create a new Slack app.

• In the pop-up window, choose "From Scratch" as the app type.
  
  

• Enter a name for your app and choose the workspace to which it should be added.
• Click on "Create App" to complete the app creation process.
  
  

Congratulations! Your Slack app has been successfully created and added to your workspace.

Enabling Incoming Webhooks

To receive messages from Keka in your Slack workspace, you need to enable incoming webhooks in your Slack app. Follow the steps below to configure incoming webhooks:

• On the app configuration window, locate the left navigation bar and select "Incoming Webhooks".
  
  

• Enable the toggle for incoming webhooks to activate this feature.
  
  

• Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Add new webhook to workspace".
  
  

• In the new window, select the channel in which you would like the app to post messages. Click on "Allow" to grant the necessary permissions.
• You will now see a generated webhook URL at the bottom of the page. Copy this webhook URL as you will need it in the next steps.
