How to integrate slack notification ?

Slack is a messaging app designed for businesses, enabling seamless communication and access to necessary information. 

In Keka, we utilize email triggers to notify employees about pending actions, announcements, and approval intimations on the portal. These triggers can also be integrated with Slack, allowing notifications to be sent directly through Keka. Now, let's explore how we can integrate Slack Notification for enhanced communication and efficiency.


Go to Global Settings  icon next to the organization name. Here, click on Communications and  find the event trigger you want to integrate with Slack and click on the Event Trigger name to check the selected event trigger's configuration. 


Once the configuration page of the event trigger opens, click on the +Add Action and select Slack Notification.



 

Enter the Name of the Slack Action (1), add the Slack URL (2), and click on Test  to verify the integration. Once the integration is verified, click on Create.
