How to enable decimal rating?
1. As of now to enable decimal rating in review first request needs to be raised with Keka CS team
2. You will have an option to choose between Star based rating or custom rating while enabling decimal rating.
Star-Based Ratings: When rating an employee using a star-based scale, reporting managers have the option to select from a predefined number of stars to reflect their assessment. Here's how it works:
Full Star: Each full star represents a complete digit on the rating scale. For example, a rating of 4 full stars would be considered as 4.0.
Half Star: A half star indicates a rating between two whole numbers. If a manager selects 3 full stars and one half star, the rating would be recorded as 3.5.
Custom Ratings: When rating an employee using a custom rating, reporting managers have the option will have an option to enter custom rating values based on defined ranges for each question or goal.
3. Once the desired set of rating and decimal options are enabled by the Keka CS team, users will be able to confirm it by selecting the "Rating Scale" option. They will see a confirmation that Decimal Rating is enabled, displayed alongside the selected base rating level.

Click Performance > Reviews > Rating Scales
3. By default for decimal rating single digit rating scale will be enabled.
4. Users will have an option to Create/Edit rating scale
5. To edit existing rating scale beside the selected rating scale click on the three dots to edit the existing rating scale
6. To create new rating scale click on Create a scale option
7. You can enter the desired Rating scale name and then beside every rating score you will have an option to define rating label and rating description and then click on Save button to save the rating scale.
Setup decimal rating scale for review
To effectively setup a decimal rating scale for performance reviews, you can follow these steps. Decimal rating scale can be setup for both Questions and Goals/KRAs. You can follow the below questions.
How to setup rating scale while doing review for Questions?
1. In Setup review cycle stage. Click on Setup Review Forms and then select the Questions option.
To setup decimal rating scale for reviewers in Questions click on the Add questions beside the selected reviewer in this case Self and Reporting Manager.
Click on the add icon to add the existing pre defined questions.
Click on the pencil icon to edit the question
Click on Choose response type and then select the needed predefined decimal rating scale.
Once that is done click on the save button so that for the question decimal rating scale will be enabled.
2. How to setup rating scale while doing review for Goals/KRAs?
1. In Setup review cycle stage. Click on Setup Review Forms and then select the Goals/KRAs (this will change based on the terminology defined) option.
2. To setup decimal rating scale for reviewers in Goals click on the Choose response type beside the selected reviewer in this case Self and Reporting Manager.
3. Once that is done select the needed predefined decimal rating scale and then for the reviewer for the Goals/KRA�s by default selected decimal rating scale will be enabled.
How to provide decimal rating for both Questions and Goals/KRAs while doing review for decimal rating based on Star based rating?
For the selected reviewer in the Review Form click on Questions or Goals/KRAs
Besides every Questions & Goals/KRAs while doing review there will be an option to rating based on star
In the review process, the reporting manager will have the option to rate the employee against specific questions using a 5-star rating scale. Each full star represents a complete digit, while a half star represents a decimal value. For example, if the manager selects 2 full stars and one half star, the rating would be considered as 2.5. If the manager selects a full 3 stars, the rating would be 3.
How to provide decimal rating for both Questions and Goals/KRAs while doing review for decimal rating based on Custom number rating?
For the selected reviewer in the Review Form click on Questions or Goals/KRAs
Besides every Questions & Goals/KRAs while doing review there will be an option to enter custom rating values in decimal based on the rating scale defined range.
