How to collect required documents during candidate's preboarding?

Documents are an important part when it comes to the recruitment process. The documents such as identity documents, previous experience & education-related documents help in a better understanding of the candidate's personal and professional background. Keka offers you the ability to select the documents that are required before hiring a candidate.

Let us take a look at how we can select the documents for data collection during the preboarding stage of a candidate.

Navigate to the Proboarding (1) tab on Keka Hire. Under the Start (2) stage of In Onboarding tab, you will be able to find the employees who are in the pre-boarding process. You can then click on Start Preboarding (3) against a candidate or you may select employees in bulk & then click on Start Preboarding (4) to initiate the preboarding for multiple employees at once. 


You will be directed to the Start Offer Process page, where you can select the documents (1) from the list, that you wish to collect from the candidate. You may add instructions for the candidate by clicking on +Add Note for Candidate. Once you have selected your desired documents, click on Next (2) to proceed to the next step.



In the next step, once you click on Confirm, the link to upload the selected documents will be sent to the candidates & the candidate will be moved to the Collect Info Stage.
