Enabling Future Date Leave Application Before Year-End Processing
In Keka, employees may need to apply for leave for dates extending into the next year before the year-end processing is completed. To allow this, specific settings must be enabled. This guide outlines the required configurations.
Navigate to the "Time Attend (1)" section, then select "Leave" (2), followed by "Leave Plans" (3), and from the list of plans, choose the relevant leave plan (4).
Click on the three dots (1) next to the leave type for which you want to change the settings, and then select Update (2).
Next, navigate to the Year-End Processing tab (1). Scroll down until you locate the option labeled Employees can apply for leave for the next calendar year (2). Once you have checked this option, click on Save Changes (3) to apply your modifications.
