How to allow employees to apply leave more than their accrued balance?
If your organization has monthly accrual but you want to allow employees to apply for leave more than their accrued balance but not more than their annual quota, you can allow employees to do so in Keka.
To enable this go to Time Attend (1) and select Leave (2). Here under Leave Plans search for the Leave Plan (3) and the Leave Type (4) you want under it.
Now under Options select Settings.
In the leave type settings, navigate to the Accrual section and then to Extra Leave. Here, you will find the option "Allow Reporting Managers to grant more leave than accrued balance." Under that, enter the number of extra leave days you want to allow in the field "Employees can take ____ leave more than their balance." Once done, click Save Changes.
When you enter a number in the given box, the employees available balance is increased by that number and they will be able to avail that many leaves.
Hope it is now clear how you can allow employees to available leave more than their accrued balance. Need more help? You can refer to the other articles available.
